The group of Prof. Bödeker conducts research in the field of many-particle systems of elementary particles at very high temperatures and densities, with applications including the physics of the early universe. They investigate the properties of dark matter, the origin of the matter-antimatter asymmetry and the origin of intergalactic magnetic fields.
Ihre Aufgaben
- research in the field of quantum field theory and particle cosmology (60 %)
- evaluation and interpretation of results and involvement in writing publications in English (18 %)
- teaching at the Faculty of Physics (4 LVS / 22 %)

Ihr Profil
- successfully completed Master´s degree or equivalent in physics or a related subject
- successfully completed PhD in physics or a related subject
- independent scientific work approach
- ability to write academic publications and technical documentation independently
- good knowledge of English in written and spoken form

- strong organisational and coordination skills
- ability to cooperate and to work in a team
- experience with quantum field theory calculations
