Aufgaben
We are offering a PhD position to a highly motivated student. The research project investigates the impact of biomechanical stimulation, recreating the mechanical environment of bone tissue under physiological and dental surgical conditions, on cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions involved in early bone healing events. The project will utilize a variety of cell and molecular biological techniques to investigate molecular interactions that provide instructive cues for osteogenesis and osseointegration, with the aim of supporting personalized treatment approaches in dental implantology.
Anforderungen
- Master’s degree in Cell or Molecular Biology. Candidates with a Master’s degree in Dental Medicine will also be considered.
- Previous experience in cell culture techniques (primary and immortalized cells), as well as cell and molecular biological methods, is a strong asset.
- Additional experience in genomics, bioinformatics, imaging, and related image-analysis technologies is advantageous but not required.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Ability to work both under supervision and independently, while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
