Beschreibung

Your responsibilities:

• Communication & Exchange: You will establish a transparent communication process and promote regular exchange between project participants – including across institutions.
• Meeting Organization: You will prepare, coordinate, and moderate working meetings with partners; if required, you will take on the role of a Scrum Master or an Agile Coach.
• Securing Results: You will ensure the clear presentation and documentation of results from working meetings and sub-projects.
• Sub-project Leadership: You will conceptualize, plan, and lead sub-projects within NFDI-MatWerk.
• Coordination: You will take on overarching coordination tasks and align activities between sub-projects.
• Marketing & Roll-Out: You will implement and monitor the marketing strategy as well as the roll-out process.
• Strategy Development: You will plan and moderate the consortium’s strategy process.
• Reporting: You will prepare and manage applications and reports (quantitative and qualitative) for the funding bodies (DFG, BMBF) and represent them in funding discussions.

Your profile:

• Completed university degree (preferably a doctorate) in materials science, engineering, or a related field relevant to the consortium.
• Several years of experience in project management of research projects, ideally with international consortia and public funding providers.
• Awareness of the requirements of different funding programs (e.g., DFG, EU) and confidence in handling reporting and application procedures.
• Experience in moderating large groups and leading interdisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of agile methods (e.g., Scrum) is desirable but not mandatory.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills, with a confident appearance in presentations and negotiations.
• Structured, self-reliant working style and enthusiasm for connecting science and infrastructure.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills for collaboration with the researchers.
