About the Projekt Group

The FRIAS Projekt Group Agrivoltaics brings together researchers from various faculties of the University of Freiburg and the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems (Fraunhofer ISE) to investigate the economic, environmental, and societal sustainability of agrivoltaics. A major focus of the group is the development of collaborative research projects and the promotion of interdisciplinary exchange.

Your Responsibilities

• Organizing, preparing, and supporting workshops and scientific events
• Communicating with participants, speakers, and project partners
• Coordinating schedules and meeting rooms
• Preparing and editing event materials
• Documenting workshops and meetings
• Conducting literature and funding opportunity searches
• Supporting the preparation of collaborative third-party funding proposals
• Assisting with the organizational coordination of the research group
• General administrative support

Your Profile

• Currently enrolled at a German university
• Excellent organizational skills
• Careful, reliable, and independent working style
• Excellent written and spoken German and English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Interest in scientific research and in sustainability, energy, or agriculture

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience in organizing scientific events
• Knowledge of project management
• Experience with literature research or scientific writing
• Interest in agrivoltaics, renewable energy, or sustainable land use
