The Faculty of Mathematics has the following job opening:

Research Position (m/f/d) (Postdoc)

Your Tasks

• scientific research in projects of algebraic geometry (65 %)
• teaching duties to the extent of 4 LVS in a full position (25 %)
• collaboration in the academic self-administration  (10 %) 

Employment is conducive to scientific qualification and provides the opportunity for further academic development.

Your Profile

We expect

• completed scientific university degree (e. g. master, diploma or equivalent) in mathematics
• PhD in mathematics completed by the start of employment
• demonstrated research experience in algebraic geometry
• very good knowledge of written and spoken English
• independent, self-reliant and committed working style
• good communication and organisational skills
