We are seeking an internationally minded researcher and educator to strengthen our research profile by complementing our existing expertise in functional („smart“) and protective polymer systems with a third, strategically aligned research focus.

Teaching Responsibilities
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in German and English within the field of Polymer Engineering, including subjects such as:
Applicants should therefore demonstrate the ability and willingness to teach effectively in both languages. Teaching may take place at the Bavarian Polymer Campus in Weißenburg as well as at the University’s main campus in Ansbach and other university locations. To support the development of research and technology transfer activities, the position is expected to include a 50% reduction in the regular teaching load.

- Pedagogical aptitude
- Special achievements in the application or development of academic knowledge and methods in a minimum of five years of work experience, which must have been acquired after completion of the university degree and of which at least three years must have been acquired outside the university sector. If, over a period of at least five years, a considerable portion of your work involved a cooperation between a university and a non-academic employer, this time may be considered to meet the requirements for non-academic work experience in special cases (pursuant to Article 57 (3) Sentence 1 No. 3 of the Bavarian Higher Education Innovation Act (BayHIG)).
