General Requirements
Applicants should demonstrate:
- A completed university degree in a relevant discipline
- A doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) is required
- Proven teaching experience at the university level
- Relevant professional experience in the respective field
- A strong publication record or evidence of scholarly research activities in the relevant discipline
- Excellent communication and pedagogical skills
- Experience in supervising and assessing student work
- Ability to deliver practice-oriented and engaging teaching
Course Description
This course develops advanced English language competencies for academic and professional contexts. Topics include academic writing, presentation skills, professional communication, critical reading, and the discussion of complex business, media, and societal issues in English.
Teaching Load: 2-3 Contact Hours per Week
Desired Qualifications
Ph.D. in English Studies, Applied Linguistics, Language Education, Communication Studies or a related field
University-level teaching experience in Academic English or Business English
Experience in international higher education environments
Publications and research activities in language studies, communication or language pedagogy
