Ihre Aufgaben

• Lehre in den Studienrichtungen Alte Musik und Instrumental- und Gesangspädagogik (IGP) im zentralen künstlerischen Fach

Historische Blasinstrumente/Blockflöte sowie ebenfalls im Bereich des Zentralen Künstlerischen Hauptfachs

Blockflötenensemble/Neue Musik.

• Lehre in ZKF-relevante Repertoire- und Instrumentenkunde sowie innerhalb projektbezogener Ensemblearbeit
• Nachwuchsförderung im Rahmen von Vorbereitungslehrgang und Young Academy Styria (YAS).
• Verantwortliche Vertretung und Förderung des Fachs in seiner Gesamtheit, insbesondere in der Entwicklung und Erschließung

der Künste

• Selbständige künstlerische Tätigkeiten
• Selbständige Durchführung von Lehrveranstaltungen, Abhaltung von Prüfungen sowie Betreuung von Studierenden
• Aktive Teilnahme an der Weiterentwicklung der Lehr- und Lernkultur und am künstlerischen und wissenschaftlichen Leben der

Universität sowie Mitgestaltung in der akademischen Selbstverwaltung der Kunstuniversität Graz

• Mitarbeit an Organisations-, Verwaltungs- und Evaluierungsaufgaben

Ihr Profil

• Eine der Verwendung entsprechende abgeschlossene inländische oder gleichwertige ausländische Hochschulausbildung bzw.

eine gleich zu wertende künstlerische Eignung

• Herausragende Persönlichkeit mit höchster künstlerischer Qualifikation und internationaler musikalisch-künstlerischen

Reputation für das zu besetzende Fach

• Hervorragende pädagogische und didaktische Eignung
• Lehrerfahrung im tertiären Bereich sowie Erfahrungen in komplementären Bereichen wie Musikwissenschaft, Musikpädagogik,

Transdisziplinarität, Improvisation, etc.

• Bereitschaft zur Teamarbeit
• Sensibilität im Umgang mit Gender, Diversität und Nachhaltigkeit

Vertrag

• Universitätsprofessur gem. § 99 Universitätsgesetz
• Das Arbeitsverhältnis ist gem. § 25 Universitäten-KV auf die Dauer von 2 Jahren befristet. Eine Verlängerung der Bestellung ist

nur nach Durchführung eines Berufungsverfahrens nach § 98 Universitätsgesetz zulässig.

• Beschäftigungsausmaß: Teilzeitbeschäftigung im Ausmaß von 50 % einer Vollzeitbeschäftigung
• Entlohnung: Das kollektivvertragliche monatliche Mindestentgelt (Verwendungsgruppe A1) beträgt derzeit € 3.356,65 brutto

(14x jährlich); ein allfälliges höheres Gehalt kann zum Gegenstand von Berufungsverhandlungen gemacht werden.

Your Duties

• Teaching, particularly in the field of study of Early Music and Music Education – Voice and Instruments in the main artistic

subject of Historical Wind Instruments/Recorder, as well as in the main artistic subject of Recorder ensemble/Contemporary

music

• Teaching in Repertoire studies and Organology relevant to the main artistic subject as well as in the project-based ensemble

work

• Promotion of young talents as part of the preparatory course and Young Academy Styria (YAS)
• Responsible representation and promotion of the subject in its entirety, in particular in the development and practice of its

arts-based activity and research

• Independent artistic activities
• Independent teaching of courses, holding of exams and supervision of students
• Active participation in the further development of the university’s teaching environment and its artistic and scholarly life, as

well as helping to shape the academic autonomy of the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz

• Participation in organisational, administrative and evaluation duties

Youre Profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification from an Austrian or international institution, or equivalent artistic aptitude
• Outstanding personality with the highest artistic qualification and international musical-artistic reputation in the relevant field
• Outstanding pedagogical and didactic competence
• Teaching experience in the tertiary sector as well as experience in complementary fields such as musicology, music pedagogy,

transdisciplinarity, improvisation, etc.

• Willingness to work in a team
• Sensitivity in dealing with gender, diversity and sustainability

Contract

• Contract according to § 99 of the Universities Act
• The employment contract is limited to 2 years in accordance with § 25 of the collective bargaining Agreement for University

Staff. The appointment may only be extended after an appointment procedure has been carried out in accordance with § 98

of the Universities Act.

• Employment level: Part-time, employment level 50 % of full-time employment
• Salary: The collective agreement specifies a minimum monthly gross salary (A1 job group), currently € 3,356.65 (14x annually);

a higher salary may be negotiated.
