To fill the tenured W3 professorship, the candidate must meet the general appointment
requirements for professors (m/f/d) as specified in Section 59 of the Saxon Higher Education Act. Requirements include a completed university degree, pedagogical aptitude and
knowledge of university teaching methods, a doctoral degree in the field of appointment,
as well as a habilitation or a positively evaluated junior professorship or achievements
equivalent to a habilitation.
The Faculty of Geosciences, Geoengineering and Mining is interested in applicants (m/f/d)
who can demonstrate high-quality publications in peer-reviewed journals, as well as independent teaching experience and experience in securing external funding. Furthermore,
several years of professional experience in the relevant field and demonstrable experience
in a leadership role are expected.
