The position is combined with a 20% appointment as a Professor ad personam at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zurich and at the Department of Radiation Oncology of the University Hospital Zurich. It is planned that, subject to appropriate qualifications, the selected candidate will have the opportunity within 1–2 years after her/his start to assume leadership of the Center for Proton Therapy.

Responsibilities

You are a dynamic and integrative individual with extensive expertise in proton radiation therapy, including the clinical care of patients. A habilitation or an equivalent academic qualification is required. You have published in relevant scientific journals and possess experience in leading research projects, successfully acquiring competitive third-party funding as a principal investigator, as well as enthusiasm in teaching students and fostering early-career academics. Your participatory and goal-oriented leadership approach ensures an attractive working environment for academic and clinical specialists.
