Student Engagement Coordinator (m/f/d)

(full-time; 38.5 hrs./week, limited; 2 years)

This position is to ensure all students have the opportunity to engage in events and activities in the Constructor Community, to foster a sense of community and belonging to facilitate the personal growth and competencies of the students.

Your Responsibilities:

• Organising, supervising and developing extra-curricular activities, projects and groups for and with students

• Manage bookings and usage of community facilities (including Sports Halls, Recreation Center, Interfaith House, Student Activities Center, Dance Room, Music Studio, and ‘The Other Side’/MusicLab)

• Manage and oversee student assistant teams who help run community facilities (including  The Music Lab and ‘The OtherSide’ Crew, our bar and party venues)

• Acting as a point of contact for students for advice about extracurricular activities

• Liaising with specialist departments (Infrastructure, Facilities/Housing, Purchasing, Accounting, Fundraising, etc.)

• Supporting social media activities and communication with students

• Coordinating project work within the relevant programmes and activities, as well as supporting marketing activities

• Supporting the optimisation of processes and projects

Your Qualifications:

• EQR 6, Bachelor’s degree in Community Development, Student Affairs, Social Work, Education, or a related field.

  

• 2-4 years of experience in community engagement, student affairs, or a related role, ideally within an educational institution.

• Proven experience in managing projects, coordinating events, and working with diverse student populations.
