Ihre Aufgaben

  • Unterstützung bei der Simulation und Analyse von Stör- und Unfallverläufen in Small Modular Reactors (SMR) mit dem Systemcode AC²
  • Weiterentwicklung und Validierung von Simulationsmodellen für thermohydraulische Prozesse
  • Untersuchung von Wärmeübertragungsmechanismen und Anlaufströmungen
  • Auswertung und Dokumentation der Simulationsergebnisse
  • Mögliche Mitarbeit an wissenschaftlichen Publikationen und Präsentationen
  • Mögliches Projekt zur Erstellung eines Reaktorsimulators

Working Student (m/f/d) – Analysis of the Accident and Transient Behavior of Small Modular Reactors

Institute for Nuclear Energy and Energy Systems (IKE), University of Stuttgart
Start Date: As soon as possible
Working Hours: By arrangement (up to 40 hours/month)

Your Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the simulation and analysis of transient and accident scenarios in Small Modular Reactors (SMR) using the AC² system code
  • Further development and validation of simulation models for thermohydraulic processes
  • Investigation of heat transfer mechanisms and start-up flows
  • Evaluating and documenting simulation results
  • Potential involvement in scientific publications and presentations
  • Possible project for the creation of a reactor simulator
